How can I dispose of my hazardous household waste?
Since no hazardous household waste (HHW) is accepted in regular waste collections, the Borough of Saint-Laurent offers you various ways of disposing of it.
1. Mini-bins in municipal buildings
You may ecologically dispose of your multimedia materials (CD-ROMs, DVDs and their cases), your non-rechargeable batteries and your cellphones at the Borough's 5 municipal buildings.
2. Disposal at an ecocentre
All throughout the year, you may dispose of hazardous household waste and electronic waste at Ville de Montréal's ecocentres.
The closest one is located at 3535, rue Sartelon. Proof of residence will be requested when disposing of the materials.
