- Pigeons and seagulls carry disease and may transmit serious ailments.
- Birds' very acid excrements may cause damage, particularly to the roof and paint of a motor vehicle.
- Squirrels may make their way into buildings and may damage flowerbeds and electric or telephone wiring.
